In keeping with Old Rip Van Winkle’s range, this bottling is a decidedly well-aged rye whiskey, matured for 13 years. A covetable bottle for American whiskey enthusiasts.
Good and oily, tangy spices, and sublime toasty oak. This is a more charred whiskey that the others in the range, and it offers up fresh black pepper and applewood aromas.
Very spicy/sweet. Here caramel is joined by prune, dates and thick, biscuity oak.
Spices and crunchy wood, at 47.8% abv, this is a HUGE whiskey!

I had the distinctive pleasure of consuming a double pour. Better than a Old Rip / Lot B /15/20yr.
A great pour but £900 is far too much. It's rarely above £700 on the auction sites.
Absolutely incredible, really aromatic, really spicy. Mouthfilling. I had this in a manhattan, it was incredible.
