
Morrison Distillers returns with another richly sherried belter under the Old Perth banner – this time finished in Amontillado casks for a drier, nuttier twist. A blend of Speyside single malts were selected for their savoury new-make character, matured in a mix of first-fill European oak butts and hogsheads before a final marriage in handpicked casks by head of whisky creation, Graeme Mackeddie. Bottled at a hearty 52.8% ABV, naturally coloured and non-chill filtered.
Toasted hazelnuts and crushed almonds meet dried apricots and warm baked stone fruits.
Golden sultanas and soft dried peaches unfold with a buttery texture and a gentle biscuit sweetness.
Long, nutty, and lightly spiced – dry yet full of sherried depth.
