Oban 2005 Distillers Bottling Note

We're big fans of these Oban Distillers Edition bottles here at MoM Towers. Tasty Oban single malt finished in Montulla Fino casks. All of those words are great words, and they make a terrific sentence when you put them all together. This particular bottling features whisky distilled back in 2005 and bottled in 2019, following the aforementioned finishing in Montilla Fino casks.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Toasted teacakes, cinnamon gum, mince pie and malt.

Palate: Tangy orchard fruit, more cinnamon, a subtle whiff of peat and sea salt.

Finish: Lots of honey and peanut brittle on the finish.
