A bustling seaside resort has grown up around the distillery in the two centuries since it was first built in the fishing town of Oban. The West Highland malt is still produced in the same unhurried, traditional fashion and this 14 year old is a classic whisky from the distillery.
Smoky, maritime nose with hints of sticking plasters and toffee brittle.
Smoky, creamy palate with notes of marmalade, toffee apples and pear cider. A development of cloves comes late palate.
A long, malty finish with toasty oak and spice.
A true classic, Oban's 14 year old is a great coastal dram for lovers of lightly smoked, fresh malts.

This is still my favorite after 10 years with whisky. It is complex, balanced and full of fantastic flavour. I've tried plenty within the different regions and this still beats the rest for my palate. After weeks of trying other whiskies in bars, at friends and such, I bring this bottle back for a taste and I'm like, "there it is, hello old friend" ;) It will always have a place in my whisky cabinet. Slàinte!!
My son treated me with this one and it was a hit from the first sip. Right away the sweetness hits and then the flavor
Its just one of the best drams i have ever tried! I can only recommend it, especially if you like peated whisky but want the peat smoke to be less dominant...
Beautiful
So very smoothe with an excellent finish. This scotch should only be had neat.
