Poised and slightly peaty. Pure Malt White is a blended malt with whisky from Nikka's excellent distilleries. Really recommend this.
A real gem. Lovely light smokey Yoichi peated malt with toffee and caramel vanilla. This White label is my favourite out of the white / red / black versions
Nice smoky and burnt flavors without the medicinal iodine thingy. Lovely sweet oak sap, barrel char and big juicy apricots
Fruity at first then a lingering smokey finish.
I bought this whisky in the Warsaw duty free shop and went to the cashier. He just exclaimed "Wow" and thought I've made a good choice. I opened it some days later 'cause I was anxious to taste it and compare it to Connemara that I like so much. I found it proportionally smoky, quite complex, a bit fruity and with a smooth aroma. I like it a lot, a use to taste my whiskies in small glasses and take some sips. This is good stuff, just try it. I haven't found someone to go crazy with this whisky but maybe you will...? I haven't tasted the other versions of Nikka, but it maybe be Worth doing it and compare.
Candy like to the front and melts to your burning gums.
