Nc’nean has announced a new addition to its permanent range with a cask-strength single malt.
Made from organic Scottish barley, this single malt was fermented with Anchor and Fermentis yeasts and then matured in a mix of 55% STR (shaved, toasted, and re-charred) red wine barriques, 43% American oak whiskey barrels, 2% oloroso sherry casks. It was bottled at 59% ABV, non-chill filtered, and with its natural colour.
Every bottle is certified organic, suitable for vegans and gluten-free, having been made in Nc’nean’s renewable energy-powered distillery, and is housed in a 100% recycled glass bottle.

Palate Bold and mouth-coating, featuring juicy peach, baked apple, and a rich malt sweetness. There’s an undercurrent of winter spice and warming oak, balanced by citrus and delicate red berry notes.
Finish Long and warming, with lingering notes of toasted almonds, gentle spice, and a touch of creamy toffee.
