Combining a splendid blend of single malt whiskies, Naked Malt is allowed to mature in first-fill Oloroso sherry casks. The name refers to the fact that the casks have never held whisky before, meaning that all that rich, fruity sherry goodness is imparted straight into this tasty blend! Nice and versatile, it's a solid sipper and ideal to have handy when mixing up some cocktails!
Smooth and oily with notes of cherry compote, buttered granary toast, malt, custard and peach.
Sherried and thick with notes of sultanas, sticky toffee pudding, raspberry jam, Victoria sponge, custard and crème caramel.
Medium, with notes of cocoa, oak and just a soupcon of smoke on the very tail.

A very nice "find." It is nice to find a blended malt at this price and to have it be very pleasing to the nose and palate. It has a rich nose - the sherry is present, some vanilla and a bit of spice. I take my scotch with just a splash and this one loses nothing to the touch of water. There is no bite like the blends with grain. It is rich on the palate with the sherry again present but not overbearing - the vanilla comes through and it is undoubtedly a malt all the way with nice spice accents. The finish is a pleasing somewhat buttery vapor that lingers just right. This is my first copita, but I'm feeling that I have found a new go-to Scotch. This one tastes above its price.
Great whisky Great price Similar to Glenrothes sherry cask - no longer made - fallen flag Mortlach old rare - also fallen flag Balvines Caribbean cask Softer than the sherry bombs
Wow ,how could you not like this very drinkable scotch. Very smooth and blends with any situation. My go to scotch now.
Naked Grouse is my go to scotch. Has similarities to some twelve year olds with none of the burn of grain alcohols. For the price, a beautiful whisky.
Somewhat disappointed, the nose of cherry and the palate derived from the cask is strong, not overbearing but lingering with nothing to follow. Drinkable but I won't be buying a second bottle. I usually have a soft spot for Grouse Whisky but not this one.
