Combining a splendid blend of single malt whiskies, Naked Malt is allowed to mature in first-fill Oloroso sherry casks. The name refers to the fact that the casks have never held whisky before, meaning that all that rich, fruity sherry goodness is imparted straight into this tasty blend! Nice and versatile, it's a solid sipper and ideal to have handy when mixing up some cocktails!
Smooth and oily with notes of cherry compote, buttered granary toast, malt, custard and peach.
Sherried and thick with notes of sultanas, sticky toffee pudding, raspberry jam, Victoria sponge, custard and crème caramel.
Medium, with notes of cocoa, oak and just a soupcon of smoke on the very tail.

I was lucky enough to get a bottle of this as a gift for American friends. I don't normally drink Grouse but this was exceptional. Very smooth & my friends & I loved it. Would recommend this to anyone. And if you ever gat a chance check out the Snow Grouse another excellent whisky.
I was lucky to receive a bottle at this years British Shooting Show. I took it home and took a wee taste .........beautiful. I have had a "smallish" nip each evening since and loved every drop (sadly tonight saw the end of the bottle!). I will certainly be ordering a few more bottles. Thank you.
At this price range, this is very good.I´ve tasted worse single malts at double the price. Nowadays, one of my favorites.
Just paid £120. At an auction for my first bottle of personally signed Naked Grouse . Mmmmmmmmm time for another.
This could be fantastic stuff if they used older matured whiskys in the mix. I would love a taste a full 12 year old version. As it stands there is some attractive flavours but it is still rough around the edges and has little depth. In this price bracket the best blends are those with a '12 Years' written clearly on the label.
