Combining a splendid blend of single malt whiskies, Naked Malt is allowed to mature in first-fill Oloroso sherry casks. The name refers to the fact that the casks have never held whisky before, meaning that all that rich, fruity sherry goodness is imparted straight into this tasty blend! Nice and versatile, it's a solid sipper and ideal to have handy when mixing up some cocktails!
Smooth and oily with notes of cherry compote, buttered granary toast, malt, custard and peach.
Sherried and thick with notes of sultanas, sticky toffee pudding, raspberry jam, Victoria sponge, custard and crème caramel.
Medium, with notes of cocoa, oak and just a soupcon of smoke on the very tail.

This is a whisky that is well worth the price in my opinion. Nice texture, smooth and it has a fantastic smell and taste to it.
Mediocre!
Good but not as good as Chivas Regal Extra at similar price level for a pure malt with sherry oak flavor.
Definitely prefer this over that far more famous blended malt, Monkey Shoulder. This has a very appealing mouthfeel, with dried, dark fruit and cream on the palate. Very drinkable and my favourite expression so far in the entire Grouse line-up.
Naked Grouse! What I could add to all those reviews...from Macallan, Highland Park, Glenrothes and Glenturret, we got a perfect combination called Naked Grouse, it is indeed a great success, blended malt, impressive, decent, and all the time very smooth, great dram...
