Combining a splendid blend of single malt whiskies, Naked Malt is allowed to mature in first-fill Oloroso sherry casks. The name refers to the fact that the casks have never held whisky before, meaning that all that rich, fruity sherry goodness is imparted straight into this tasty blend! Nice and versatile, it's a solid sipper and ideal to have handy when mixing up some cocktails!
Smooth and oily with notes of cherry compote, buttered granary toast, malt, custard and peach.
Sherried and thick with notes of sultanas, sticky toffee pudding, raspberry jam, Victoria sponge, custard and crème caramel.
Medium, with notes of cocoa, oak and just a soupcon of smoke on the very tail.

Refreshing Smooth buttery Vanilla creamy Apricots, This is a really well blended whisky!
I am a fan of Grouse but find this to be too far from the familiar taste. Obviously a high malt content but far too dull for my palate. I find it almost whisky without, are we sure it is not one of those horrible concoctions for the American Market, blended as a mixer. In conclusion I am disappointed and hope that this bland brew does not affect the reputation of the Famous one. Good packaging.
I first tasted this whisky during a recent visit to The Grouse Experience at Crieff. I was sufficiently impressed to buy a bottle on the way out. I would guess that this has the highest malt whisky content of any blended brand. Certainly is is one of the finest whiskies I have ever tasted. Like Joe from Glasgow I also am a regular Grouse drinker but I also drink a variety of malts and, to be honest, on a blind tasting I might well have taken Naked Grouse for a fine malt! If you are a keen whisky drinker you certainly can't go through the rest of your life without tasting Naked Grouse.
A lovely whisky, very easy on the nose - rich and smooth. Nice in the mouth and even better in taste! Smooth taken neat. What a welcome addition to the whisky family. I am sure once word gets around, it will prove successful. This comment comes from a regular Grouse drinker.
With out a doubt one of the finest blends i have ever drunk
