A blended malt whisky containing both Japanese and foreign whiskies produced by one of Japan's smallest and youngest distilleries, Nagahama. Eagle-eyed customers may notice that the name of this range, Amahagan, is Nagahama backwards. This edition is finished in red wine casks before bottling at 47% ABV with no chill-filtering or colour added.
Malty nose with toffee, blackcurrants, damson jam and baking spices.
Richly fruity, almost jammy on the palate, with sweet red fruits, baking spices, black pepper, and orange blossom.
Sweet spicy finish with subtle dark chocolate notes.
