This 10 Year Old blended malt goes by the name The Speysiders, released as part of Murray McDavid's The Vatting series. It was matured in a duo of bourbon and sherry casks, before spending a finishing period exclusively in sherry butts. After a decade of ageing the blend was bottled in 2019 at 46% ABV.
Side note: The Speysiders would be a pretty good name for a band.
Fresh raspberry, chocolate digestives and toffee apple.
Oily malt, a hint of barrel char and vanilla shortbread, with a hint of fruitcake.
Berry jam and subtle oak spice.
