Here we have the fourth batch of Murray McDavid's Rìgh Seamus II blend. Combining 70% malt with 30% grain, the blend includes spirit from Bruichladdich, Auchentoshan, Tobermory, Arran, and Old Rhosdhu, matured in red wine barriques. After blending, the whisky was allowed to rest in sherry hogsheads to finish off, bringing even more vinous, fruity character to the palate.
Dates, raisins, prunes, oaky vanilla.
