Description

Mossburn's Cask Collaboration Series kicks off in style with this 12-year-old Speyside blended malt Scotch whisky, finished in rum casks from legendary Barbados distillery, Foursquare! Expect plenty of tropical, fruity tang and buttery oaken vanilla to accompany the nutty malt and toffee at its core.

Nose

Spiced apple, banana bread, and candied citrus are joined sugar toasted nuts and vanilla fudge.

Palate

Tropical notes of grilled pineapple and rum and raisin ice cream make for a sweet and fruity start, backed by woody layers of clove and earthy tea.

Finish

Superbly sweet and exotic til the finish, with generous layers of juicy fruit, butterscotch, pepper, and oak char.
