An indie bottling of the Beast of Dufftown - it's a 25 year old Mortlach bottled by Adelphi! This one was aged in a single cask from 1993 to 2018, then bottled at cask strength with an outturn of 380 bottles.
A battle between meaty malt and sherried fruit. The festive spices eventually tip the tides.
Rum-soaked raisins, chewy dates, roasted chestnut, anise and tobacco.
Lasting mature oak warmth, with the meaty malt notes returning to the fray.
