This 12 year old single malt was distilled at Mortlach in 2000 and then matured in a hogshead before being bottled in 2012 for The Vintage Malt Whisky Co. for the Coopers Choice range. Only 300 bottles of this well-balanced and fruity Speysider were released.
Dried fruits, creamy notes of vanilla, milk chocolate and caramel, alongside lightly buttered toast with a helping of apricot jam and a cup of coffee on the side.
Fresh pear, floral honey and heather, subtle oak, notes of liquorice and a pinch of salt.
Warming malted milk chocolate and butterscotch, winter spices, oak and a pinch of white pepper.
