Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
The nose is quite subtle with elegant depth. Notes of blossom and barley, hints of oaked tannins and dry wood. There are lovely notes of hay and cut grass with beeswax and a touch of grist. The palate is smooth and buttery. Notes of sweet winter spice abound with utter bravura; a touch of black pepper emerges from the charred oak with notes of manuka honey. The finish is long with spicy warmth.
