Moncreiffe & Co
Here we have the Signature blend from Scottish independent bottler Moncreiffe, marrying 70% Lowland grain whisky with a mixture of Islay, Highland and Speyside malts. The no age statement Scotch even shows the Moncreiffe coat of arms on the label.
Strawberry, buttery caramel, apricot, raisin, praline and a hint of cigar box.
Apricot jam, nougat, silky toffee, vanilla fudge and fresh toast.
More toffee, roasted almond and ripe cherry on the finish.

as an ex smoker I got tobacco instantly on the nose and palate, brought me back but i a good way. i got the toffee but i thought it was a coffee flavour more the toffee. a punchy start with a smooth finish.
Immediately the strength is evident. I pick up raisins and vanilla. It clearly doesn't have much age or depth but the flavours are good
Long finish, nice and sweet ..after taste is a little like tobacco. But overall the palate is smooth..
Lovely whisky.
This stuff was disgusting. Avoid!
