Miltonduff - Batch 1 Bottling Note

This is the first batch of single malt Scotch whisky from the Miltonduff distillery, bottled by That Boutique-y Whisky Company, and it features the Loch Ness Whisky Parliament on the label, or, more specifically, the MWP for Miltonduff, Dick Beach (off of Fiddler's Restaurant and award-winning Whisky Bar). When not representing the 'Duff, Dick is also quite partial to cheese. That security guard of his looks quite familiar too...

Batch 1 is a release of 122 numbered bottles.

‘That Boutique-y Whisky Company’ bottles single malts, single grains, bourbons, blended malts, single grains and blends from a variety of renowned distilleries. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic-novel-style labels.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Rich barley, sweet oats, stone fruits, grapes and, increasingly, fresh raspberries.

Palate: Intense summer fruit tart and summer pudding.

Finish: Frozen redcurrants with butterscotch sauce... or barley-Scotch sauce... or something.

Overall: No cheese notes. Probably very nice with cheese though.
