While the folks at That Boutique-y Whisky Company were busy putting together its USA Series, a sample of this tremendous Dutch rye whisky from the Millstone distillery landed on their doorstep. It was too good to sit on, so they simply had to find a way to sneak it into the collection. Fortunately, the series features a range of baseball card labels, and it would have to take a real expert to spot a fake baseball card, right? Oh dear, if you look closely, you'll see that it has in fact been torn in half and defaced by the official Boutique-y card verifier. Nice try guys.
Produced with a 50/50 mix of malted and unmalted rye, this expression spent nine years maturing in a toasted, charred American oak barrel.

That Boutique-y Whisky Company bottles limited edition whiskies from a variety of renowned distilleries as well as producing award-winning blends. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic novel-style labels.
Sticky ginger cake and burnt brown sugar, with floral notes of orange blossom leading to fragrant, herbaceous liquorice.
Zesty citrus oil and chewy malt are joined by layers of earthy pine, while fennel and cardamom bring a warming touch of spice.
Hints of menthol, pepper, and more cardamom wrap things up superbly.
