Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

The nose is crisp and of medium-body. There are notes of almond and a touch of nut oil, notes of cut grass and hay, strawberries and raspberries with notes of dried peels. The palate is of medium-body and quite thick. There are notes of pineapple and mango, hints of wood smoke with beeswax and treacle and a touch of smoked meat. The finish is long and slightly smoky with a good oaken note.

Cant believe this is such a special whisky
Just received this as a very appreciated present - scared to open in view of the price and noting the distillery is closed and these bottles are hard to get - have seen a price of £135!
