The US*1 Bourbon from Michter's in Louisville, Kentucky, is made in small batches, typically comprised of no more than two dozen barrels. Top quality stuff, brimming with caramel, vanilla and fruit notes, alongside a pleasing earthy quality at its core.
Rich layers of vanilla, caramel, milk chocolate buttons, and buttered corn, with sweet oak char in support.
Layers of buttery caramel, soft peach, and apricot, with a warming touch of nutmeg and pepper mellowed by creamy melted chocolate and oaken vanilla.
Fruity with lingering notes of stone fruits, a touch of apple, more chocolate, honeyed almonds, buttery oak, and balanced peppery heat.

Along with Eagle Rare(Favorite),Makers 46,Blantons & Woodford,Michters is right in the middle of my top 5 and moving up the more I drink it. Might not beat out Eagle, but enjoying it more than Makers. So smooth & just enough burn 2 remind your drinking Bourbon. Thank you to the fellow in line in front of me(I got Buffalo Trace)4 telling me 2 try this wonderful Bourbon...my wife thanks you too! Happy drinking, and have a good day !
Very smooth taste, not too harsh, not too sweet, but very pronounced vanilla taste and aroma.
Easy sipper with burnt sugar nose caramel and vanilla taste
Not great. Ok for an entry bourbon if you've not had much but pretty bland compared to others. Wild Turkey 101 is much better at almost half the price. Not sure why this is so popular with instagrammers??
Bought my first bottle yesterday and already im thinking of buying my second. Good solid taste. Im not as adept to denote subtleties such as raisins, citrus, smoke or GD walnuts, but overall this is a very good bourbon with a nice finish. Give it a try.
