The 2023 release of Michter’s Barrel Strength Toasted Barrel Finish Rye is here! This edition spent an undisclosed amount of time in an original charred barrel before it was transferred to cask #23G2641, a toasted (but not charred) barrel for a 24-month finish. It was bottled at a bold 54.6% ABV.
Cola cubes, caramel, eucalyptus, BBQ sauce, cinnamon, and sweet tobacco.
Chewy and big with rye spices, molasses, nougat, toffee apples, a little biltong, and mint.
Rich and spicy.
