The fact we don't reveal the name of the distillery allows us to offer top-quality whisky at just of the fraction of the price it would be otherwise. Expect a malty, coastal, oily whisky with a hint of smoke...
Dry and distinctly Island in style, with a waft of cool wood smoke lying somewhere underneath a sweet/salty note. Good malt notes, some spice, vanilla from the oak.
A great balance between a malty, almost caramel-like sweetness, and hints of oily smoke. It becomes more oily, with a touch of bergamot late palate.
Good length, mouth-coating, with a pinch of nutmeg.
A spiced, rich whisky.
I'm glad I had 4 bottles (2 left) all the tasting notes are true on this one. Just a hint of smoke, that's it, for smoke lovers not the right bottle, for Scotsch whisky lovers a very good and very well balanced whisky. Very rich indeed!
