One of two whiskies specially selected for the Movember bottling range this is a classic Lowland style of blended malt Scotch whisky. A fantastic introduction to the world of malt and a direct contrast to its Moustache wearing brother, the Smo’key one.
This is one of two limited edition sets of 420 bottles featuring five unique labels of Dave Broom, Serge Valentin, Richard Paterson, Marcin Miller and Charles MacLean.
On the first whiff we instantly got the slightest hint of the rum complexity of Mr Wax moustache wax followed in an instant big manuka honey nose. It develops elements of malt, before dropping into cut grass.<br />
The palate is like walking into a music store and picking out a good classical album from the easy listening section. A fine combination of top notes which hold your interest and develop into sweet satisfaction before sitting down for dinner.
Medium in length and great starting point for anyone new to whisky.
