This marvellous single malt was distilled at Mannochmore in 2008. Matured in oak casks for a decade, it was treated to a nine month finishing period in a small octave cask, amping up the rich oak influence. Bottled in 2021 for The Octave series, by indie bottler Duncan Taylor, with a total outturn of 64 bottles.
Green apples and pears, vegetal oak, and spicy clove
Nutty malt, cinnamon, almond pastries, zesty citrus, and drying notes of peppery cedar.
Softly herbal with nutmeg, candied almonds, and a hint of baked apple.
