This single cask Swedish whisky was distilled at Mackmyra in January 2013, before ageing in a single virgin American oak cask until it was bottled in April 2022 by French indie bottlers Swell de Spirits, for its Wonders of the World series. Only 392 bottles were produced, at a cask strength of 53.4%, without added colour or chill filtration, and it's full of fruity, sweetshop character.
Fruit gumdrops, with white chocolate and raspberry cookies, oaky vanilla, and baking spices.
Floral honey with allspice and a few cracks of black pepper, drizzles of treacle, and caramelised white chocolate.
The spices build, with oak coming through.
