Distilled at Macduff, this single malt was treated to nine years of maturation in a refill sherry butt before bottling. After that rest, the folks at independent bottler Dràm Mòr cracked open the cask, releasing a total of 722 bottles at a hearty 58% ABV.
Sweet sultanas and freshly cut grass, a hint of lavender tea, and oily oak.
Honeyed stone fruits open the way, with sprinklings of currants and cinnamon. Candied ginger joins, followed by herbaceous malt and toffee-studded cookies.
Zesty citrus peels, floral barley, and nutty, toasted oak.
