Yester yer sherry cask As it should be, earthy chocolate coffee taste which better then the smell with a long finish. If it was Mortlach I would not be surprised 46.3% hold a great balance, really meaty and spicy in a good way .”

OK, we'll accept that writing jingles isn't really our thing, but you know what is? Bottling delicious whisky! This is a festive addition to our exclusive Master of Malt collection, matured for 21 years in a sherry butt, it's laden with cakey spice, toffee apple sweetness, and rich, buttery old oak. It'll make a superb gift for a Scotch whisky buff, and if you're searching for a bottle of "Christmas whisky", this is a great shout. A release of just 452 bottles and like all Master of Malt bottlings, this one is 100% natural colour and non-chill filtered.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Creamy notes of honeyed porridge nestle beneath butterscotch and vibrant barley, with bold, polished oak. A touch of sugared almond arrives as things open up, with dried apples, sultanas, and a hint of leather.
Palate
Superbly soft and sweet to start, with elegant notes of candy floss, Madeleines, and honeyed prunes. Creamy vanilla rides throughout, with buttery fudge, and toffee apples.
Finish
Trickles of caramel and poached orchard fruits keep things sweet, while rich old oak brings a touch of nutmeg warmth to the lingering cakey spice.
