A single cask bottling from the Macduff Distillery, independently bottled as part of the Poise and Perseverance range. Just like the series name suggests, this one has persevered through 11 years of maturation after being distilled in 2007, resulting in a poised and elegant flavour profile boasting clotted cream, sponge cake, perfumed apple and ginger. An ideal spring sipper.
Perfumed, floral, and elegant with fresh rose and a hint of lemon zest.
Lifted. Vanilla-rich sponge cake complete with ginger compote and clotted cream. Rich.
Segues nicely into butter pastry-rich apple pie and thick custard.
