This is a 1 litre bottling of 20 year old Glen Deveron single malt Scotch whisky, originally released for the Travel Retail market. 'Glen Deveron' is the name used by the Macduff distillery for their official bottlings of single malt. It's not often you get to see their whisky outside of independent bottlings, though it does find its way into many popular blends. Plenty of Sherry cask influence in this one.

Undrinkable. I've never said no to a single malt before but this tasted like kerosene.
Tasted smoothly but not complexity.
There is no such thing like a 20 year old scotch for $82 I have purchased a bottle at Canadian duty free. Big disappointment. Nothing to compare with the 15 year old Glenfiddich or 12 year old MacCallan, not to mention any of Islay whisky
I sampled this neat and it almost burns my tongue... tastes like more of a cheap whiskey than a single-malt scotch. With a little ice it tones it down, but it really lacks complexity. I see these are sold at "duty-free" shops in Canada and the perceived low price for a 20 year was what made me purchase it... not one I'd keep in the cabinet.
I just can't get enough of the beautiful smoky flavor on the finish. One of my favourites.
