A special release of 18-year-old single malt from The Macallan, distilled in 1979 and bottled in 1997. While The Macallan is well known for its sherry cask-matured whiskies, "sherried" does not even do this one justice. The Gran Reserva releases are seriously super sherried and highly sought after – the 1979 vintage is particularly popular within the series.
