An independently (and snazzily) bottled single malt Scotch whisky from the Longmorn distillery, presented by Gordon & MacPhail as part of their Distillery Labels series, which sees well-known whiskies decked out in bottles with cool, retro labels. This one is a 1999 vintage Longmorn, bottled at 43% ABV in 2013.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Sherried malt at the fore, with touches of red berries and cinnamon. Orchard fruits in the background.
Palate
Citrus begins to show off here, but apple and raisin notes maintain juiciness at its centre.
Finish
Satsuma peel notes last.
