This is the third and final single malt to join the Lochlea distillery's Harvest Editions, following on from the Harvest Edition First Crop and Harvest Edition Second Crop. Third Crop is another year older and was matured in a selection of bourbon and Port hogsheads to create a sweet, summery profile inspired by the annual barley harvest.
On the nose, indulge in notes of strawberry jam and clotted cream, giving way to freshly baked apple pie and white chocolate on the palate. The finish is beautifully balanced with a hint of cracked black pepper.
