Lochlea Fallow Edition - Second Crop
The third expression in a set of four seasonal limited-edition whiskies, Fallow Edition reflects the season of autumn when the fields are left fallow to rest after a busy harvest. Lochlea is a farm distillery, so this period after the barley harvest is taken to regenerate the land for the next crop. This edition was matured in two different types of sherry cask, split 55% Pedro Ximénez and 45% oloroso.

Nose
Manuka honey, ground coffee, and golden syrup.
Palate
Sweet, spiced candied ginger.

Freshly crushed almonds.
