A grand lightly peated single malt from Loch Lomond, distilled in 1996 and matured in a bourbon barrel, this 22-year-old Inchmurrin showcases the fruit-forward profile of the distillery's signature style. Loch Lomond has the unique capability to produce a vast variety of different styles of whisky, and this one will make a superb opportunity to get acquainted with one of the distillery's lightly peated expressions. A release of 157 bottles.

Zesty lemon and lime peels balance smoked chilli flakes and peppery oak, with a touch of vanilla fudge joining in time.
Creamy vanilla and toasted coconut rest beneath bold spice and burnt caramel while toffee apple sweetness and smoked herbs develop beneath.
Allspice and smoked paprika linger, coupled with plenty of sticky toffee, and more fragrant vanilla pod.

I really like this. If you like the typical Loch Lomond flavour--for me, tropical fruits, ginger, vanilla--, then you’ll like this. The peat is very mild; it just seasons the liquid. Long finish. Very drinkable and enough complexity to keep it interesting.
