High Commissioner is a blend of various malt and grain whiskies. It's actually not that bad, with a pretty decent balance of flavour.

I bought this because it was quite cheap and Whyte & MacKay gives me heartburn. Tried it neat to compare (with lots of other whiskies I've tried) and it was beautiful. It may end up being my regular tipple.
Starts off with a nice blended whisky taste but what on earth is that aftertaste all about? Reminds me of the smell of freshly sprayed dogs urine! I certainly don't recommend :(
This is my go to scoth when I'm semi broke. For a very attractive price tag this is pretty decent stuff. I've had MUCH worse for much more money than this. VERY decent whisky!
wonderfull smooth blended scotch, cannot believe the price, pity morrisons stopped stocking it at £15.99 a ltr it was a bargain.its stopped them selling thier own stupid plastic bottle of petrol. comment further down by steesh must be his ist taste of whisky or he works for another distillery or he has not got a clue.you won't find a smoother whisky.
Taste dominated by grain spirits. Ok for the price but nothing special.
