High Commissioner is a blend of various malt and grain whiskies. It's actually not that bad, with a pretty decent balance of flavour.

This blend is outstanding. I was very sorry that morrisons has decided to discontinue this line. Will just have find somewhere else to shop.I'll miss you Morrisons.
Saw this for the first (and perhaps last) time while traveling in Burma. Price was $1.50 (US) a pint. Wasn't the smoothest, but felt absolutely fantastic in the morning. Looking forward to running in to "the commissioner" again.
Bought this to keep the natives happy and the more expensive single malts under lock and Key , surprisingly this whisky was very pleasant to the point of opening the malts and having a tasting session
I used to drink this every day when I was 17'ish, on the beach, with some coke gently served on Pepsi carton pints, shared with friends and endless nights of summer. Just for the bond i got to it I give him 5 stars.
On a Cruise recently we called at Gibralter on the way back to Southampton. The first shop we came to on the way to the centre was selling High Commissioner Whisky for £4.50 a litre.Had to buy a bottle at this price. It's great value and tastes good.
