An indie bottling of Croftengea (the name Loch Lomond uses for its peated single malt), aged in a single hogshead for 14 years after being distilled back in 2005. 277 bottles were released as part of Alistair Walker's Infrequent Flyers series - so named for being bottlings of whiskies that you don't see all that often.
Basil leaf and forest floor give it a green nose, with hints of toasted brown sugar on sweet pastries.
Cinnamon rolls, treacle tart, roasted apple and toasted sesame seeds.
Grassy hints return, along with a touch of vanilla pod.
