Smoky single malt Scotch whisky from Loch Lomond, released under the Croftengea range. This expression was distilled in 2010 and given 11 years to mature before Italian indie bottler Hidden Spirits bottled it up at 51.7% ABV. Another wonderful release showing off the adaptability of Loch Lomond.
Peanut shells, barley sugar, marmalade, and charcoal.
Smoky oak lingering on the palate, with marzipan and a little liquorice.
Peppery heat and some cask char.
