I'm no expert but I know what I like and I like this. No, I love this. It has an oily waxy mouthfeel, no tongue burn and smooth as smooth can be.Tremendous value for money. Will purchase again.
Absolutely lovely, easy drinking with a drop of water or meat. A nice smooth toffee/caramel highlight. Doesn't get close to that harsh, artificial character or cheap blended whiskey. Give it a try
Fab - a great dram. Careful who I share it with!!!
Not normally a blended fan, but I'll definitely have this again. Nothing particular to say other than warm, mellow and a real joy.
Very good 18 year old whisky; its smooth and dark golden with a nose that is fruity, floral and oaky. Palate is spiced with a slight peat, choco and oak. Finish with warmth, slight oak and a whisper of smokyness. For the price it is an excellent evening drink suitable for the novice as well as the seasoned whisky enthusiast.
