Behold, the 11th batch of Linkwood bottled by That Boutique-y Whisky Company, matured for 11 years. If you're reading this at 11:11 on the 11th of November, that would be a pretty intense coincidence. If you're reading this at any other time, it's still a cool whisky, just you won't feel like you're in the movie The Number 23. Which is probably a good thing, honestly.
Batch 11 is a release of 583 bottles.
‘That Boutique-y Whisky Company’ bottles single malts, single grains and bourbons from a variety of renowned distilleries as well as producing award-winning blended malts and blends. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic novel-style labels.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Melon, fresh vanilla, sponge cake and a little cut grass fragrance.
Palate
Clementine, thyme honey, crunchy brown sugar, milky tea and chocolate biscuits.
Finish
Fresh linen, nutty malt, the melon juiciness from the nose returns.
