A single cask bottling of Linkwood single malt Scotch whisky, independently bottled by Mossburn for the Vintage Casks series. This one was distilled in 2007, and interestingly was given a finishing period in a Cognac cask before being bottled up in 2021. A release of 243 bottles.
Lemon zest and grassy malt, with underlying hints of redcurrant jam.
Softly spicy with touches of cinnamon and ginger, rounded by mellow caramel and buttered crumpets.
Malt loaf, cacao, and almonds.
