Here we have a bottling of Linkwood single malt, which after distillation over in Speyside was whacked straight into first fill sherry hogsheads. After 12 years of maturing, the liquid was bottled by Adelphi for the second batch of the Laudale range, with 1,478 bottles released at 46% ABV.
Apple crumble, cinnamon and caramel with a scattering of vanilla pod.
Pain au raisin, more vanilla and stewed orchard fruits with more silky caramel.
Chocolate coated candied ginger with honeycomb and toffee lingering alongside.

Great dram for the Sherry lovers. Beautiful beading in the glass, a lovely fruity nose followed with the typically dark forest fruit flavours, creme caramel, strong espresso, dark bitter chocolate and sweet rhubarb crumble. The finish is soft and creamy and long lasting. A great whisky imo !!
Sherry lovers rechoice . The balance flavour profile even the viscosity sing together in perfect harmony . We just got some here in Australia and it's gone.
