Distilled at Linkwood in 2011, this single malt spent a decade maturing, including a finish in ex-Calvados casks! Those casks were opened up in 2022, and the whisky was independently bottled by Càrn Mòr for its Strictly Limited collection.
Green apples and herbaceous barley appear right away, with honeyed almonds and floral blossom in the background.
Vanilla shortbread welcomes the way for fresh apricot, juicy pear, and drying oak spice.
Nutty malt, clove, and anise join towards the finish, joined by chocolate praline and warming oak.
