Limitied edition Lowland single malt Scotch here from Lindores. Chapter 2 of the Friar John Cor Congregation Batch series has been matured in a combination of bourbon, STR wine barriques, and rum-peated casks. The whisky has been bottled up at a cask strength of 60.9% ABV, and without added colour or chill filtration.
Mellow maple syrup, roasted banana, fruity dates, apples and spicy cinnamon, caramelised demerara sugar with subtle waves of earthy peat.
Rich fruity pears, roasted banana with spicy cinnamon, caramelized nutty almonds followed by a pleasant smoky earthy peat and subtle maritime notes. Very smooth velvety texture, well balanced and complex.
Long lasting with lots of character.

Fantastic stuff. Fruity , smokey, and delicious
Seeing as its 61 % might put some drinkers off but it is simply one IF not the best whiskies I have tasted . Smooth , complex long finish amazingly too easy to drink ( in moderation of course ) Fortunately I got the Last bottle from MOM so you will have to wait for it Sorry
