Triple copper pot distilled from 100% Irish barley, Limavady is an Irish single malt whiskey matured in bourbon barrels and finished in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. Master distiller Darryl McNally is a veteran in the Irish whiskey industry, and also a descendant of the original 18th Century Limavady distillers. The eye-catching bottle design is based on an original bottle from the 1750s, discovered buried in the fields near McNally's home, complete with an old school "blob-top" bubble neck.
Sweet dried fruit, toffee, citrus peel, and a touch of vanilla.
Sherried fruit cake, fiery cinnamon, prunes, and toasted oak, with a touch of herbaceous malt nestling beneath.
Flapjack, orange, butterscotch and warming, peppery spice.

Moves through so many flavours. Gorgeous
We enjoyed this Irish SW very much!
Easy drinking with a good flavour
This is a great all rounder, plenty of body but not harsh, Sherry cask influence but not too sweet, smooth but not too thin. 4 stars as its a great sharer or a single evening drink.
