Laphroaig The 1815 Legacy Edition was created by Distillery Manager John Campbell in honour of the members of the Laphroaig team that have been producing the much-adored whisky on Islay over the years. This expression features whisky aged in first-fill bourbon barrels and new European oak hogsheads.
Cinnamon-spiced apricots, marmalade, heavy layers of toasty peat.
TCP, brown sugar and caramel, a hint of raisin.
Robust notes of peat last.

This is beautiful, 1st glass wasnt to sure. After that i was in. Salty, smoky, peaty everything you would expect from laphroig. Well worth the price tag.
Smokey, sweet, salty, smooth
Had this alongside a Laphroaig 18YO for comparison and I was surprised. I have a new favourite Laphroaig; a really deep flavour and a great finish.
Favorite Laphaoig so far!
Had side-by-side with the 10; 1815 is slightly smokier, fuller. Some orange rind for me on the palate, bold but not rough. Definitely worth a try!
