Laphroaig 7 Year Old - Badly Drawn Dogs
Some think our pal Cal's dog drawings are bad, but perhaps they're just cat people? The dogs have had their day; now it's the cats' turn with this addition to the Badly Drawn Dogs whisky collection – a bottle of Lapdog Laphroaig with an adorable cat named Artemis on the label! This single malt spent seven years napping in a refill hogshead before it was filled into a litter of kitten-sized 350ml bottles.
Each bottle sold means a donation to Battersea Dogs & Cats Home and Dogs Trust. Drink generously (and responsibly).
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Oily depth with pungent, earthy peat, dark chocolate, and zesty lemon peels. Grassy barley and white pepper join, with a medley of medicinal malt and caramel in tow.
Palate
A complex array of Black Forest Gateaux, salted caramel, baking spice, and bitter herbs join tart citrus and oak char. Vibrant malt and ashen charcoal nestle beneath, with a subtle metallic element beneath.
Finish
Chewy toffees, crumbly, buttery shortbread, festive spices, burnt fruit cake.
