It was matured in ex-bourbon casks then bottled at a weighty 52% ABV, and each bottle comes alongside its own presentation cask too.

Nose
Phenols and sea spray, with underlying mature oak warmth.
Palate
Heavy notes of medicinal peat smoke, joined by peppercorn, cut grass, a hint of milky coffee, orange oil cutting through.
Finish
Lasting bonfire embers and a few hints of honeyed barley.
